Follow Start > All Programs > DVDVideoSoft > Programs > Free Screen Video Recorder or just click the DVDVideoSoft Free Studio icon on the desktop.

ScreenHunter is an advanced screen capture and image editing tool which allows you to capture from multiple sources and to multiple outputs. It includes an image Viewer and an image Editor. You can capture adjustable rectangle areas, ellipse areas, freehanded, scrolling windows, multi-objects or only text, full screen, Directx, screensavers and even movies. There is on option for Web site captures, but all the attempts ended with the same result: 'permission denied' or 'stopped by user'. Capturing options allow you to include the mouse pointer, to add auto text (date, time, computer name, user name, note). You can set a delay for capturing between 1 and 120 second or you can set the program to auto capture selected items at certain time intervals. Captured images can be copied to the inbuilt Viewer or Editor, sent to Clipboard or as email, saved as image files or printed out. Among advanced options we may mention the capturing of transparent windows; you can set the Editor to automatically run after capturing or you can bring the Viewer to the front after capturing. The image editor contains all the basic features needed for editing, including auto shapes, effects, but there isn't any option for image conversion.Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Unfortunately you can only capture and convert to BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF image formats. Web site capturing didn't work with this trial version as well as movie capturing. When used for capturing images from movies played in Windows Media Player, the program didn't actually capture anything but a black image.
In conclusion: Fairly good, but still needs improvement compared to other software alike (SnagIt).
